Plan to attend our 2015 annual plant sale on May 16. A reminder – we are opening the doors at 8:30 this year!!! Come early for the best selection – we have lots and lots of plants potted up and they are looking good!!! As our sale is a week later this year, there should be an even better selection of strong, large, beautiful plants!!! The sale will be over by 11, or when the plants are gone, so come early!
Hey – it’s the long weekend – buy lots of plants, take them home and plant them!! The location is at the Omemee Curling Club on James Street, as usual. Lots of parking, lots of room and level entry makes this a super location for our sale.
Plants are donated by our members – this means that there are always lots of special, hard to find plants.
As usual, we have some specially selected plants available for purchase: for annuals we have a fabulous Euphorbia (Diamond Delight) along with the delightful Superbells Double Salsa.
Our geraniums are White Splash (this plant is ever popular at our sales, so we continue to offer it for you,) Elanos Blue (a double lavender) and Savannah Oh So Orange.
We hope to have our usual great selection of annuals, vegetables, bulbs and tubers, grasses, etc. Again this year we are planning to put our really special plants (rare, unusual, new varieties etc.) on a separate table, and one of our knowledgeable members will be there to answer questions and to guide you. Bring a couple of extra loonies – we will be raffling off a large planter again this year. Last year’s lucky winner was Chantal Barnes.
It’s yard sale weekend in Omemee so come on out early Saturday morning. Buy some great plants and browse around at some yards sales (Omemee Lioness is holding their great yard sale at Coronation Hall, which is right around the corner from the plant sale.)
Feel free to contact me if you’d like more information. Oh, by the way, we are always looking for donations of plants – give us a call.
See you bright and early on Saturday, May 16!
