Silent Auction of Special Plant Divisions

Location: Trinity United Church

The Silent Auction of Special Plant divisions will be held at our September meeting. Please consider what “special” plant you might be able to pot up and donate for this special evening. We are looking for good sized named plants that are not normally donated to our spring sale. Shrubs, hostas , heucheras, coneflowers, day lilies are a few examples.

Plant Sale and Silent Auction

This special fund raising event was held in conjunction with our June meeting and Spring Show. For a first time event, it was also a tremendous success and members voted to continue it again next year!

There was some lively bidding and many people went home with treasures. Thank you to all who donated either garden items or plants and also to those who purchased them.

The results of the evening were as follows:

Silent Auction: $362.00
Plant Sale: $147.55
Donations for tomato plants: $ 32.85

With a total of $542.40 for the evening.

These monies will be used to subsidize tickets for the District Luncheon, the OHA Convention Expenses for our Delegates and the Volunteer BBQ evening.

Thank you everyone. It was a very successful evening in every way.
