Bill’s Pizza Garden
This is another garden that grows in hot dry conditions and is totally buried with huge piles of salty parking lot snow all winter. It is small – surrounded on 4 sides by four concrete parking bumpers. It originally had a small shrub, some old varieties of hosta and annuals for colour. In our move to make all the gardens more low maintenance and with lower water requirements, it was changed in 2009 by member Anne Luxton who then continued to maintain that bed. To the hosta she added Happy Returns daylilies to match the Coronation Hall gardens as well as a grasses and a few annuals.
